Rumors are widely spread in our society. Now-a-days an epic rumor has broken down in Bangladesh. People are so afraid that they can even kill someone. And they have already killed many only for suspicious behavior. They don’t know what they want. When someone becomes senseless, he/she is no longer a human being. There is no different between an animal and a brainless person. 

Here few points must be noted to understand the whole thing:

• We don’t use our thinking capacity when someone says any odd thing confidently. Most of the human beings believe that a confident person talks only the truth. Reality is that pure liars also are confident with their false. From my point of view, it is a weakness to believe any odd thing without using logic.

• When majority people believe on rumors, we intend to believe the same thing. It is our belief that such huge number of people do not believe on wrong thing. During my BBA life, I saw majority students took wrong decision in a unit. Reality is that very few unities are made for the welfare and most of the unities are made to achieve specific benefits to a specific group.

• Saying changes while the information transferring from one person to another person. For-example: I say to someone “may be that guy from north part of the country”. Then that person says to another person “He is from north division”, then that person says to another person “He is from north division like Rangpur”. Then that guy says to another guy “he is from Rangpur”. But reality is that he may not be from Rangpur. But the sentence is changed while it is transmitting. 

• We like negative things more than positive things. When we read news paper, most of us are greatly attracted on negative news rather than positive news. Negativity is like a poison which affects very quickly. In the same time, positivity is like medicine which takes time to work but it works for sure.

Seriously our society is facing epic rumor now. I know it is just a rumor but people are spreading it rather than using logic. As much as I try to clarify about the rumors, people show me different logics and stories. It is also a proof that negativity spreads much faster than positivity.
